	Serpent born from a spherical, yolkless egg of a seven-year-old laid by a cock during the days of the consteallation of Sirius and hatched by a toad. It has the upper body of a rooster and the lower body of a snake, and it is extremely dangerous as it can kill from its breath and its glance. It is often associated with the Basilisk.
