The
term "ghost" refers to any spirit of a dead
person that has not ventured to the world beyond, usually
because of unresolved issues on the living world. Ghosts
come in a variety of forms, being incorporeal, taking
physical forms, or being nonexistent yet with sill a
tinge of "reality" in their intangible aura.
Ghosts are often thought to haunt the places where they
died, or places of great significance in their life. For
example, if a bride was stood up on her wedding day and
took her life soon afterward, she would haunt the church
where she was to be married, replaying her would-be
wedding-day over and over again. In Eastern cultures, the term ghost ofte
refers to a person's reincarnation.
