outline
outline
Very, very much oversimplified outline.  Eventually, I intend to have each event link to the chapter applicable.  ^^  See, I want the outline vague, not only so I can change it as I need to, but so that nothing is given away.  ^^
I.       Fire-- three survivors (that are known of at this point)

II.     Aftershock-- people's situations after the fire

III.    Meeting--  The two "heroes" meet up (only, that one... Knowing what I do about her... I wouldn't  call her a hero...)

IV.    Travel--  Minor events.  Character development, and manipulation by Aradia...  BAD ARADIA!!  BAD!!

V.     Run-in--  First other species encountered, besides those in the minor events in travelling.

VI.    Travel-- more dialougue, primarily-- character development chapter.  Further manipulation and lying... gads, you gotta watch that girl...  Not that he's totally honest, himself...

VII.   Capture--  Oh, come on.  Every fantasy book has to have everyone get captured!!  So that the hero can save the dayyyy.  (Cliche?  No... wait a minute.  The details... the details.)

VIII.  No escape...--  No, I don't kill everyone... leastaways, not yet.  She's held captive, and he's drafted.

*Note:  next chapter is his Army Adventure!!  Do they win?  Well... they don't *all* die...
IX.     Eastward--  They go far, and overtake the humans' castle.  However... as things play out... they nearly all die... and are forced to beat a hasty retreat... they're almost taken out... and somehow he's separated from them.

*Note:  next chapter is something of a "meanwhile back at the forest"  chapter.
X.       Legitimate--  Everything goes plainly, for a bit.... and then Arcadia gets caught at herbal seeing, and is accused of sorcery.

XI.     Reunited--  Oh, no.  Don't let the title deceive you-- it's far from over.  They're reunited, sure-- in the holding cell.  MWA HA HA!!  And, no, the brave, dashing hero does NOT save the somewhat less than honorable damsel.  Far from it...

XII.    Separate ways--  She manages to get out... he vows revenge for her methods of escape.

XIII.   Run-in-- Another run-in.  This time with a marshland creature, with more brawn than brains.  Restraining herself from certain actions, she manages to find out where the original dude she'd been chasing had gone.  Only, there's a dilemma to pursual.

XIV.   Deja vu-- Back to a place visited.  Only it's totally different than before...  She has a run-in with the bad guy, who, coincidentally, isn't so bad, really...  She joins up with him.

XV.    Boring chapter--  well, i have to have time pass SOMEHOW... and so we have Boring Chapter.  I'll figure out SOMETHING to go here.  More indetermined, than boring.

XVI.   Roads cross--  The two men meet up.  Their pasts are... shall I say... their pasts have commonalities.  She walks in.  They look up.  Both say her name at the same time.  Oh, the drama...

XVII.  Interwoven threads--  Entire chapter is a metaphor!  HA HA!  I WILL CONFUSE EVERYONE WITH THIS!!!

XVIII.  either i'll go on from there, or close with another metaphor, in terms of an epilogue.   Depends how i feel then.

~~Note:  only major, major events regarding primary characters are involved...  there ARE far more characters, but, this is already kinda takin' a while to type, so I don't wanna put their significances (heh... if that's a word) in as well.  God bless.
