Anakaris was the final ruler of this dynasty, and when it at last came time for him to pass on into the great afterworld, his dying words told of a curse to all who would make miserable his people: a curse that he would return someday to avenge his people. Centuries passed, and the land had long since been overtaken by neighboring invaders. The people suffered, and at last cried out to their pharoah, pleading for his assistance: Anakaris stirred in his tomb. A loud kick could be heard for miles, smashing through the thick outer bricking of the pyramid. Anakaris' prophesy had indeed come true, but he returned in a most unexpected way: as a mummy. The mighty king easily wiped out the hordes of invaders with his supernatural powers. The people embrace their leader once more. All who bow before Anakaris fall under his undying protection, and all who resist will meet Anubis face to face after they have battled and lost. |
