A young samurai, Oboro, was charged with defending his villiage against an oncoming threat. Doubting in his own ability, Oboro took up the cursed armor known as Bishamon. The demon's hold was strong, and for centuries, Bishamon and Oboro took many lives together in a killing spree that might never have ended were it not for Oboro's undying determination. Somehow, he finally bucked the demon's power and was free of the curse. He went on to be with his dead wife Orin. However, there is no rest for the wicked; starving for blood, and left without a master, Bishamon assumes a vengeful ghost, "My name is... yes... the evil samurai, Bishamon!" |
