In the city lives Queen Bee, leader of the tribe of soul bees that dominate Doman's food chain. The soul bees have always been able to survive and prosper. By the time Bee took over the matriarchy, which was after the death of her mother, the soul bees were faced with a new kind of problem: overpopulation. There were simply too many bees on too small a planet. The answer to their problems seemed to have come in the form of a savoir when Jedah arrived. He promised the Queen that, if she would but help him gather the valuable souls that he had summoned to his Dark Dimension, then he knew of another world, a larger world, where the soul bees could thrive for many years to come. She was overjoyed, and happily buzzed a yes. She did work for Jedah, and even saw him as a close freind up until the end, when the dark lord was ready to raise the antichrist-like child. He told her in his cruelest, coldest tone that he had done a good job for her, and now it was time to rest. Bee was enraged and attacked Jedah, defeating this "savior" in battle and returning the lost souls to their bodies, despite what her soul bee instincts told her. The soul bees have since partially integrated to the Demon World, but means are being taken to prevent the horrors of overpopulance, such as anti-pollen birth control medicine. |
