| Birthdate: 1953, Brazil Species: merman Eyes: stormy blue Hair: n/a Height: 6'0" Weight: 137 lb Likes: his family, his kind, exploration, the sea I would guess Dislikes: being the last of his breed Story: Since man has been able to travel the seas in ships, they have often made claims of seeing sea serphants, giant squid, and yes, the mysterious merpeople that only reveal themselves to sailors on occasion. Through various trips to the underwater realms of Pacifis and Atlantis I have learned this much; there are two types of merpersons known so far. One is green and lives in the Pacific ocean, while the other is blue and lives in the Alantic. They learned long ago how to cross realms by whistling precise frequencies into the waves and therefore opening gateways. Rikuo was the emporer of the Pacific breed, but an earthquake caused by the arrival of Pyron buried that race under tons of rock. Rikuo's gaurds, in their last breaths, ensured that their king got to safety. Rikuo awakened from a long sleep to find himself on dry land!? He learned quickly that he could breath this sensation known as air, being that merpersons have lungs as well as gills. And so, the former king took his first steps into a strange new world: the world above the waves. Several exploits into this world proved to Rikuo that he might just be the last of his kind. Finally, he returned to his home in the Amazon Rainforests of Brazil and plopped down on a log, disapointed with the way life had treated him. But a soft, feminine voice brought him out of his depression, and a beautiful blue mermaid appeared from behind a tree. The two of them were attracted at first site, each beleiving the other was the last merman/mermaid on Earth. As it turns out, her name was Aquaria, and she had gone through something similair in the Atlantic Ocean. They had a son named Alba, who they treasured greatly. But one day Alba didn't come home from play. Rikuo swam out in search of him, and got his first glimpse of Jedah's Dark Dimension. "He must be in there... I'll come save you, Alba!" After joining in the desperate battle to defeat Jedah, Rikuo returned to the sea without his son. He soon found him playing with a little mermaid(lol) whose name escapes my mind. This little one showed Rikuo and his family to the kingdom of Atlantis, which had been hidden away until the arrival of Jedah moved aside a large rock. The family of merpersons lived there with their own kind, and are there to this day. |
