CAMERA... LIGHT... ACTION... CLICK!

Hello there. Me? A photographer?. I'm just a keen amateur photographer, not more than that. I have been taking photos since I was 15. I remember the first time I used my uncle's camera. He was away so I managed to finnish a 24 exposure without his knowledge.
I must have taken thousands of pics by now. My subjects are normally still-life, landscape, nature and close-up although at times I still take candid-shot and wedding photos.

My gear? Only the basic gear; A Pentax P30T SLR with a 35-80 zoom lens, a CS-240 Auto Yasica flash unit, a VT-131 Vanguard tripod and dozens of Cokin filters. I don't rely on good cameras for good pics although sometimes it helps a lot to minimize time adjusting exposure and focusing.

I once had a very basic SLR called MIRANDA (a 2nd-hand camera) but I could still produce good quality pictures. Heheee... yeahh yeahh.. it depends to the photographer. Those pics in My Pics Gallery were taken with my P30T a few years ago while I was still in UK. As we drove around Europe one summer holiday and spent 2 weeks wandering around in France, Italy, Austria, Germany, Holland, Switzerland and Belgium, I managed to finish a few rolls of film.

This is my favourite one! This shot was taken in Lindau Germany. I saw a couple of swans one early morning and I managed to sneak nearer and shot these swans while they were playing around. That was the only shot and when the films were developed we were really amazed with the formation of a 'heart'. I attribute this shot to patience, luck and not forgetting the beautiful nature in Lindau.

I think thats it for now. I still have hundreds of pictures at home and hopefully in the near future I can have all of them scanned. Keeehoii!!!
