Fall in love with somebody who speaks or writes English
on ICQ through e-mail
But don't meet him/her in person
just mail and talk to him/her
everyday

Fall in love with a writer and the characters in their stories or writings
I fell madly in love with Hiedi by Joanna Spyri,
with Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger,
with characters by Kurt Vonnegut,
and D H lawrence and Hugh Prather and a few others

Fall in love with a poet or a singer who speaks your soul
and sings your heart in his poems or songs

Fall madly in love
and your heart will take your learning by the hand
and you will be writing & speaking their language beautifully
using their words and ideas even without your knowing it
That's how I improved my English all these years
without my knowing it,
when I was doing it

You will only know when you look back
how far you have gone
cos in love, you won't feel the passage of time
