There's nothing poetic about poetry
It's just another way of recording things
like oil or water painting or photography
it's just an image, a feeling, a knowledge, a story,
the mind, the heart, the soul, the body captures
on a special day
in a special moment

It's the way
a special shaft of light
on a common object
a casual incident
an ordinary person
gets reflected in an angle never before,
in the poet's reservoir
when it is most still
