What if

the small round tables in the covered playground

were long big tables

and running along the middle of each

were long plastic boxes

those you put bread in

but instead you put books

books you dont read at home

books you treasure and want students to read

books covered with dust in the library

So when people arrive in the morning

or when people finish their lunch early

They would flip open a book

and read

and if they like

take away for a week or two

and return when they finish

This is not difficult to do

This is worth writing a proposal on

get fund

No librarian needed

no stock keeping needed

just old books, but worth reading books,

books donated by whoever interested

students' parents, teachers and charitable organizations.

Come as they may, take as they wish

books everywhere

and students read

before and after class

sitting on the ground

everybody a book

leisurely

books handy

and a lot to choose from
