You are never free you are never free

In this forever institutionalizing world

Everything everyone is trying to enter you

to engage you

numb your soul

block your sight

smother you suffocte you and cripple you

with different pleasures and pains

at home in bed your tele remote round the clock clicking dear ones nagging

at work your colleagues complaining duties shirking

students monkeying neverending book marking

you are never free for ever clutched bedridden dungeoned

To be free

is

to be able to see

all that goes past you infront of you behind you around you

at a distance not too far not too close

yet

allows you to

reflect

and distill

and crystalize

the fine image

the good wine

the precious gem

and pocket it

in your heart

and relish it

with your soul

and record it

with your pen

on a scap piece of paper

in weird places

in small hours

A free person

does the opposite of what everybody else does or is doing

he makes choices quite contrary to his fellowmen or great grand Adam

Odyseus chose to sail past the pleasing siren, warm home and gone again

Jesus Bhudha Moses Paul chose the desert rather than the seat of a prince

Frost chose the road less travelled by

It's always solitude they enter and re-enter

in wind and rain in midnight and early mornings

at dawn at sunset everyday and long holidays

pleasure forsaking never stopping

just to make a joke of

daddy gravity

by taking the time

and making time

to engage in less popular activities

rather than being engaged by popular activities

you transcend and dont necessary have to obey the law of gravity too
