Go Home | Go to Polls A Word on the Polls --- 5/27/01 - Some of you may have noticed that I recently added a new option to the polls - the option to leave a comment about the poll topic. This option was not meant for people to bicker childishly about whether or not A.I. "deserves" to win the state championship. So, in light of the recent fighting, I've decided to remove that option. I'm sorry it could not have lasted longer. If you have any questions, comments, feel free to email me.   I would just like to say to anyone taking the poll question, I do not have them up for a few people to compete against one an other. It used to be that I could leave the settings of the poll so that you could vote as many times as you wished in a day.   However, due to the recent "abuse" of these settings (see results for the ref question, etc), I have been forced to change it so that you may only vote once per day.   For those of you who were honest and only voted once or twice, thank you. But to everyone else - these polls are NOT a COMPETITION. They're up so that I, and others, can get a reaction from the general population, not one or two people who are trying to "win" in the polls.   For your information - I do not vote in my own polls.   Thank you for reading this, and thank you for being honest and only voting once - although now you have no choice. ~Erika - The Tiger's Lair webmistress
