RDC IX Chairperson and Zamboanga City Mayor Maria Clara L. Lobregat formally opens the RDC IX Inter-Sectoral Sports Festival at the Zamboanga Freeport Authority grounds.

The run-away champion, Agri-Industrial Development Committee (AIDCom) headed by Dir. Nazrullah B. Manzur of DTI IX (center). Also in the picture are some members of the Committee: Dir. Brenda L. Nazareth of DOST IX, Atty. Arsenio L. Gonzalez, Jr., PSR for Trade and Industry and RDC IX Co-Chairman; and Mr. Efren B. Carreon, AIDCom secretary.

The Infrastructure Development Committee (InfraCom) chaired by Dir. Antonio A. Sta. Elena of DPWH IX bagged the first runner-up in the Inter-Sectoral Sports Fest.

The Development Administration Committee (DevAdCom), chaired by Dir. Gerardo F. Concepcion, Jr. of DBM IX, with its participants to the Sports Fest. 

The Social Development Committee (SocDevCom), chaired by Dir. Parisya H. Taradji of DSWD IX, with other members and technical staff.

        Some of the events that were played during the RDC IX Inter-Sectoral Sports Festival to include; table tennis, dart games, volleyball, and lawn tennis.

         The over-all champion for this year’s Inter-Sectoral Sports Festival was the Agri-Industrial Development Committee, with the Infrastructure Development Committee as the runner-up.

        The following were the winners of the different sporting events: Volleyball-INFRACOM - 1^st place, AIDCOM - 2^nd place; Lawn tennis- AIDCOM - 1^st place, DEVADCOM - 2^nd place; Chess, AIDCOM - 1^st place, INFRACOM - 2^nd place; Table Tennis- INFRACOM - 1^st place, DEVADCOM - 2^nd place; and Dart- AIDCOM – 1^st place, DEVADCOM – 2^nd place.

The awarding ceremony for the Inter-sectoral sports Fest was conducted during the RDC IX Testimonial Dinner and Awarding Ceremony in the evening of the same day.
