Hares: Bente and Gro

Secret Map-Reading Stealth Hare, also known as the Hare-plug: TurboYugo

This was a great hash, starting from a school yard and stopping at lots and lots of playgrounds around the Jordanovac area, lots of new hashing territory to the Zagreb Strollers, something we always appreciate. The frequency of playgrounds was somewhat disturbing, as it would seem that Bente's familiarity with all of them indicates she spends a lot of time hanging around them...but that's something for the therapist.

The hash was made more fun by the absence of flour marks (still in anthrax mode, we see) and with good markings with chalk - the arrows pointing the right direction sort of took the mystery out of false trails, but it was a great effort nonetheless. TurboYugo did a great job as Stealth Hare, with a trusty map on which Bente had circled all the playgrounds in the city (hmmmm....).

It was lots of up up ups and not much down down down, but all was forgiven by the pack when it was time for EXCELLENT Viking nosh: wonderful salmon, salad, and out-of-this-world fish soup cooked up by Gro!!! All washed down by some akvavit that would make even the girls grow hair on their chests!!!

But it was by far some of the best on-on's we've ever had!

The RA ordered up some good winter weather for us - not too hot, not too cold, and not too dark and gloomy. He seemed to be obsessed with hands in pockets, but that's another one for the therapist...

Attending this outstanding effort by our wonderful hares were: Scarlet Charlotte, Multiple Entry, Hot Pot, Kingfisher, Jeff (who became Goody Two Shoes), Lost Boy Toy, most of the Kouumdjiev family (Selia, Elena and Stefan), Flying Scotswoman, Spiderman, Scandihooligan, Girly Pants, Posh Spouse, Monkey Business, Air Jordan, Zeljka (who became Belly Button), Turbo Yugo (the Hare plug) and Robert Wieck (who became Weak at the Knees).

New runners were Ray Southwood (who instantly became World Wanker) and Barb Marmann.
