ZSH3 Snitch Report - Hash 150 |
Hash 150 Snitch Report, submitted by AAA with additional notes from Hot Pot The 150th run of the Zagreb Strollers Hash House Harriers took place on Wednesday, April 10 after several days of rain. Nutcracker named this run "The Mad Dogs and Mud Run". Loving the mud were Barb Marmann, Spiderman, Kingfisher, Rich Roesing, Hot Pot, Nutcracker, Brazil Nut, Bente and Goody Two Shoes. Girlie Pants made a quick exit after dropping off the beer, good play, man! The runners knew they were in trouble when viewing Barb's formerly white pants and just-new sneakers, disgusting mud stains! Barb was Spiderman's Virgin Hare and she earned her Hare shirt as she stumbled over the mud-filled trail to Spiderman's cajoling, "Can't you run a little faster?". The T-shirts sponsored by Deloitte and Touche are a sparking white with blue print, lovely. The intrepid Hashers set off at a good pace (ie. everyone walking) and found several false trails within the first few minutes. There were many stairs on this run, mostly we went up them. The only flat part of the run was the stinking cess pit of canine excrement and clay that we yomped through in the midst of a nature trail, en route to yet more stairs. All the while we were being attacked by mad dogs. Most of them were locked behind gates but it didn't make it any better. Spiderman promised us some spectacular sights on this run and he is a man of his word. First there was the Brain Research Building and then there was the stadium at Salata which gave some of the best views of the city the Hash has ever seen. As the light was fading he led us back to the starting point (up more stairs of course) where cold beer and AAA were waiting. Brazil Nut had to have a down down for keeping his shoe laces free of mud by constant stroking. AAA had a down down for posing as Hash cripple. Luckily the weather was on our side as we had the first rain free hour for days. The Meduza Restaurant accommodated us after the circle closed and we had an enjoyable dinner. |
