Hash 152 Snitch Report, Red Dress Hash, submitted by Multiple Entry
Well, your Hash Snitch is back on the job, and it's pretty clear that we are lacking snitch spirit on the ZSH3 'cause we are missing some snitch reports from hashes I didn't make it to! The Hash Gods Help Those Who Help Themselves.
This was an excellent hash, with gorgeous May weather (thanks RA!) which really showed off those gorgeous red dresses! This could rightly be called the Former Colonies Friendship Hash, as the Hares (and there were so many it was truly a "hairy" hash) were Sri Lankan Champika and Aussie Wayne and their kids, and Yank Big Cuntry (or is it Country? Spellcheck please!)
The run started from midway up Pantovcak and then it was stairs, stairs, and still more stairs to the first beer stop. The mosquitos had the most fun, however, as they got a veritable hasher-smorgasbord!
Then it was on down down down to Britanski Trg (completing the colonial theme) for the second beer stop and munchies, where we gave the old folks and resident loonies something to talk about for the next 6 weeks or so...
Best of all, this will forever be remembered as the Hash That Stopped The President! Yes, the Presidential motorcade politely stopped to let all the hashers cross the street and it was ON ON to find the trail! Hmmm, maybe the sight of all that red brought back fond memories of Tito...
Then it was back up up up to the circle, which got a little rowdy, particularly as all the mothers celebrated Mothers Day with some down downs for their (re)productivity. Posh Spouse and Champika went way TMI (Too Much Information) with their stories of birthing babies and going into labor and lost navels...Enough already!
This was quite a long circle, and the stormclouds in the distance did nothing to dampen the RA's quest to get everyone to either drink it or wear it! There were a lot of wet red dresses by the end, and Shhhhh had a wet Tshirt contest of her very own!
Spiderman was voted best Red Dress outfit for a sexy, stylish yet
simple
ensemble, comprising a mini skirt and sleeveless top, with matching
hash-shirt turban, and, to show off his Gaelic pride, a cute little blue
sporin. Snitch has but one comment: somebody get that boy a bottle of
Nair!
It was Bolter's birthday (she claimed to be 19 and she still doesn't look a day over 30) and Hot Pot earned her 20 run T-shirt!!!
Present at the Hash were Your Snitch, The Bolter, Sandy Dagon with Sarah, Jacob and Jack, Hot Pot, AAA, Kingfisher, MnM, Barb, Party Animal, Spiderman, Girly Pants, Posh Spouse, Monkey Business, Belly Button, Sssh, Dorota Dyman and Joe, and Brenda.
New runners were visiting hashers LaLa and Goldfish, Greg Scholfield, Sachie Tanaka, and Ismet Efendic.
On Afters were the best we've seen in a long long time, with everything from curry to chili to ham to hot dogs! Thanks to Champika, Posh Spouse and all the other Moms for cooking up a storm, literally.
All in all, this hash deserved and earned a Perfect 10!
