ZSH3 Snitch Report - Hash 156 |
Hash 156 Snitch Report, submitted by AAA, Big Country, and Goody Two-Shoes Sultry nights do not deter the Strollers as they gathered Wednesday evening, July 10, at Sestine Church. The pack included Holly Golightly, Greg Scoffield, William Schumann, Goody Two Shoes, Weak in the Knees, World Wanker, Big Country, newly-named SOS (Barb Marman), and AAA.Greg's daughter, Erika, stayed only to take some photos, stating that her dress was probably not appropriate Hash attire, although the (wolf?)pack vigorously disagreed and felt her dress was perfect. There could have been some confusion as the Zagreb Hash was also doing their trail in the same area but they helped by setting their trail with corn meal.It was also helpful that the Zagreb Hashers, perhaps intimidated by the presence of such skilled hashers as the Zagreb Strollers, decided to have a very short hash that evening. By the time the Strollers passed the Sestinski Lagvic restaurant, sweaty beer-guzzling Zagreb Hashers were already strewn across the lawn. The pack set a furious pace as they followed the trail upstream. With few opportunities for false trails and back checks, the FRBs charged forward, and were pleasantly surprised near the top of the hill by a beer check, womanned by AAA. The pack continued uphill to Medvedgrad Castle, where they enjoyed splendid views of Zagreb from above. Well, actually, it was a little too hazy for "splendid" views, but Big Country did his best to describe for the pack what they WOULD be able to see, if only the air were clearer. Meanwhile, at the bottom of the hill, the Zagreb Hash had run out of beer and had dissolved. Lamb Buggerer, Bummer McAgram, and Antibiotics were wandering the parking lots asking strangers for beer, when suddenly the Zagreb Strollers burst from the woods and assembled behind Sestine Church...with a full cooler of cold beer. Would the Zagreb Hash trio find a way to partake the Strollers' beer? If you have to ask, you've never met the Zagreb Hashers! Guest RA SOS quickly took control of the hash circle, recognizing the "newcomers," who took 10-15 minutes each to introduce themselves. Various feats were rewarded, including Holly Golightly's unbelievable run BEFORE the hash all the way up from Vinogradska to Sestine. The pack bid farewell to Holly, who was running with the Strollers for the last time before leaving her productive life in Zagreb behind to study law (say it ain't so, Holly!). On-afters took place down the hill at the always-delightful Pivnica Mlinarica. The next hash will be on Wednesday, 24 July, together with the Zagreb Hash. Come and meet the "other" hashers in town! |
