Twinkle Toes' Christmas Hash, 15 December 2002

Instructions included the wearing of bells of something festive and Twinkle Toes won first prize with his Hare shirt enhanced with a blinking red nose. The sun was well set highlighting the pakrika-laced flour for the runners' trail and corn meal for the walkers' trail. The trails included urban settings but were mostly forested, all white and silent after the night's snowfall. We could tell how tidy Croatians are because they cheeerfully swept the trail marking as they swept the snow away. World Wanker learned quickly how difficult it is to run a sola Hash, checks are brutal! He found every false trail before finding the true trail. Twinkle Toes and Cathy (who fell four times because she was wearing warm boots with a smooth sole trading beauty for practicality) finished first. Twinkle Toes had prepared Glugwein using his landlord's homemade wine, brandy, lemon zest, and cinnamon sticks which was heartily consumed with AAA's apple cake. Twinkle Toes has selected a sp! ecial restaurant for the on afters that served fine Croatian food along with good service which the Pack found to their liking.
