A year ago today I thought
Life was not worth living
Nowhere to turn, no one to care
I was so very tired of giving.
I couldn't see a rainbow
I couldn't see a smile
I knew that life was over
This day, this very hour.
Then something special happened
Like a second chance to see
God sent his angels with wings of gold
To take loving care of me
The angels sang a song to me
They helped me understand
That I am someone special
Then they took my hand.
They told me that my life will change
With each and every day
Just hold your head up high
We will never go away.
They also gave me special friends
Someone to share my soul
You are one of my angels gifts
The most wonderful blessing of
all.
