Wish Into the Wind

From out of nowhere without a sound
Like the mist that covers the morning ground
Like the fog that laces the deep blue sea
I looked in the mirror and what did I see

A face with lines from years of life
A mother, a grandmother, a faithful wife
A life gone by in the blink of an eye
And beautiful memories that get me by

If I could have one wish come true
A special one for me and you
I'd throw this wish into the wind
That I might live it over again
