To start at the beginning, I got my very first Cabbage Patch in 1983 for Christmas. My aunt worked at Toys 'R Us and, the dear woman she is, put several away in back before they even went out on the shelves!! Yes, I was a happy kid for this doll! Thank goodness my mother didn't do what she has recently told me about those years. She contemplated SELLING my doll on the second hand market at a steap increase then getting another one for me! I'm glad she didn't, my original doll had my name... In a fateful move about 1991 my CPK was lost! I was 10 years old at the time, but have always missed my original doll. Then Ebay shows up and I got the idea to find my lost kid. I was addicted when I told myself I was only looking for the one. Since then I have continued to find as many others as I can. I have now found my original!!! She's the first girl here. It only took me nearly 11 months to do so! As for all else, my collection is listed as well as information new collectors need to know, as I am still a newbie!! Links are now posted. In time I hope to amass more info as well as a couple adoptions for ya'all. Not to mention the great stories my fiance has written about my CPKs...including my mob boss, this is his "family" of course...*lol*...
