So for most of my kids, there are some or partial original outfits, or a replica, or something just plain fun... Pictured Left to Right Cailean She is a dark blonde, green-eyed girl, double ponytail girl. She has all her stitches and is in great shape (except for painted toes which I can not get out). She does have a heart on the tush. She has all her make-up. She is a Sari girl wearing a exact duplicate of a Sari draped in the traditional manner. Merline My first (I found her at a thrift store for $1.50!!) is a blond, topknot, green-eyed girl, with all her stitches intact, but no heart on her tush. She was terribly dirty, that's it! Her makeup is still perfect! And has wonderful coloring! She is wearing an original blue sheersucker overall outfit with original shoes. Nieta A dark brunette, double puppytails (with VERY LONG fringe), green-eyed girl. She has all her stitches and original dress. She came with green paint on her foot and her dress...I got it off her, but her dress (an original white sailor dress) did not fair as well. I am still scrubbing it now and then. She had very little peach make-up left and had to be added. Sadie She is a brunette, blue/violet-eyed girl I picked up at a thrift store wearing original shoes, socks and an original t-shirt! She is a double ponytail girl, though also has a weird part. She now has a single ponytail. She has all her stitches but her joints are slightly loose. She does have a heart on the tush. She has almost all her make-up, but I re-touched it to make it stand out. She is now a tribute to Gloria Swanson; Sadie comes from "Sadie Thompson" (1928) and Swanson's crowning film, nominated for several Oscars in the first Academy Awards. She is wearing black silk and beads galore! Shani She is a red headed, brown-eyed girl I picked up at the same thrift store as Merline, just several months later! She is a double curly piggytail. She has all her stitches but her joints are really loose, she can't stand. She does have a heart on the tush. She has some original make-up, but it needed to be re-touched. She is wearing a one my original designs. Elora Double pony, platnium blond, blue-eyed Taiwan girl. She was in AWFUL shape when I got her...her head was DIRTY, but her body was mint (all stitches are perfect and intact) and clean (still has her heart). Weird. Her hair was stuck in the position in which I bought (found) her. After cleaning her head, the little bit of make-up that was left has washed entirely away...all her make-up had to be redrawn from scratch. There wasn't even a hint of what was there before. She is wearing an original light blue sleeper, missing slippers, bib and bear. Quinlan He is a red-haired, center part, green-eyed boy. I saw him on Ebay for the fourth time and felt sorry for him, now here he is. All stitches are perfect. He does have a heart on the tush. He had NO make-up, so I re-did his entire face. He will be wearing his yellow shorts (for the sweater outfit) until I can complete the outfit. Tobie A brunette, center part, brown-eyed boy, with all stitches intact, even has his heart! He came to me dressed as a girl with a CPK dress on. It took me awhile to be sure I had a boy, but he does have the part and his hair fringe comes to a "point" in the middle of his forehead. His coloring is wonderful and that is part of what made me think it was a girl! He is now wearing a MC white shirt with green ducky overalls (missing buttons-will be replacing when I find good replicas). Disa She is a two-tone blonde, aqua-eyed girl. She is a side part. She has all her stitches and is in mint condition. She does not have a heart on the tush, and has very dark make-up. No pilling or sagging at all and is perfect! She is currently wearing an original design of mine. Dalhia A dark brunette, double curly piggytails (though I don't have them curled), violet/gray-eyed Taiwan girl. Her stitches are all intact and her heart is there. Her coloring was perfect, her hair just needed work. She is wearing a complete replica Aussie flare dress. Ember A dark brunette, double curly piggytails, aqua-eyed girl. Her stitches are all intact as well as her heart. Her make-up needed retouched, but was fine. She came to me smelling of smoke HEAVILY!!! I had to tie her up in a garbage bag with baking soda for a month to get the smell out. She is wearing an original design of mine.
