I got my first Rainbow Brite sometime when I was kid. I don't remember, as she was introduced in 1983 by Hallmark, Inc. I do, however, remember my 4th birthday when I asked my grandparents for one, and of course, I got her! She was a 12 inch doll, I think. Size is different since I reached my full height! :) That Rainbow Brite went EVERYWHERE with me (I dropped the Cabbage Patch, of course). My mother says that nothing compared with my Rainbow Brite. I did have all the Color Kids, Twink (and a few other Sprites) and Starlite. I watched the TV show religiously. Yep, I worshipped her. Which means it was odd that I gave away or lost all the rest of my things before I hit junior high. Fast forward to 2003 when the 20th Anniversary Edition of Rainbow Brite was produced, and I made up my mind to start collecting her again, thought not on an active level like Cabbage Patch Kids or My Childs. For now my collection is NON-EXISTENT, but there. I will also have information for newbies, like myself.
