December 3 I have yet to hear a Freedy Johnston song I don't like, and this, the quintessential Freedy song, is no exception. They aren't always this upbeat, and one gets the impression women are mean to Freedy rather a lot. His beautiful melencholy voice and catchy hooks like this one make me sorry I didn't find out about him sooner. And, speaking of which (because I know he'll point it out if I don't) eternal gratitude to Bill for introducing me to this artist.

If you like this song, you should check out his albums. Very important music critic Robert Christgau described "Can You Fly" as a perfect album and personally I think "This Perfect World" is even better. "Blue Days Black Nights" is also very good.
