Camingue (BS Accountancy), Zander J. Plaza (BS Accountancy) and Longina S. Sinday (BS Accountancy), along with five (5) others were awarded as outstanding students of Region 10 and Caraga Region. The Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro in coordination with the RFM Foundation, Inc. and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED)-Region 10 bestowed upon them medals of recognition on May 11, 2006 at the VIP Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City. These outstanding students, who underwent rigid school-based eliminations and panel interview, will automatically be nominees to the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) - National Level. The awarding of which will be at the Malacañang Palace, Metro Manila, on June 19, 2006. The TOSP is an annual program recognizing outstanding youth of the nation for academic excellence, exemplary leadership, community involvement and good moral values.
