I used my fingertips and a puddy knife to fill in the gaps at the keel. Alternatively, I used a pastry bag and tip to fill in the gaps at the chines. You can clearly see that the latter application makes for a cleaner fill, which means less hassle altogether. I just piped-in the thickened epoxy, and carefully used a fingertip to work the filler in and smooth it out. Any excess was wiped away using a knife.
