Much of the weekend still consisted of planing the sheer clamps, and basically preparing for the installation of the deck. And finally today, July 8, the aft deck was ready to go!

Had it not been so late in the evening, I would have continued with the installation of the forward deck. The aft deck itself isn't completely installed, but rather, as you can see in the image above, the very ends are bound with tie-down straps. At 11PM I stopped hammering in the interest of maintaining a friendly relation with the neighbors. With the ends bound, I can continue driving in the rest of the nails at the stern, as well as install the forward deck, on Saturday morning, July 13.
