			The Parque das Sequoias, in Canela (RS). Botanist Curt Metz devoted his life to assembling an enormously rich variety of plants and species from all around the world. Brazil itself is the most diverse flora country in the world, with about 30,000 different species. Metz's ouvre is now continued by his son, who also runs the park and a pousada. Return to article
