This site is a 100% original tribute to my favorite animé series: Dragonball.   Dragonball was originally a Chinese folk tale about a monkey king who could take the form of a human being. Akira 

Toriyama turned this Chinese fable into the most popular animated series in the world. Dragon ball first aired February 26, 1986 in Japan. Although Dragon ball wasn't that succesful its successor Dragon ball Z quickly became very popular. On another note after the Freeza saga Akira Toiyama had no direct control over what would happen in the seires (and you could tell that by the way it was milked, e.g. everyone learns to go Super Saiya-jin, Vegeta and Bulma get married). Dragon ball GT was not as popular at first but quickly regained some of Dragonball Z's popularity with its later sagas.
