He gained his first degree B.E (Electronics) in 1986 from Rangoon Institute of Technology (RIT).

He is youngest in his siblings of his family.
After his degree, he worked in National Indoor Statium (NIS) for a
while and joined the University of Computer Centre (UCC).
He left Burma and worked in Singapore DBS Network Engineer
He married with Ma Win Wa Soe in 1998 and now he has one beautiful
daughter (born in 1999)
Maung Ye Myint's hobby are "Computer, Music, Religious, Shopping
for goods".
