Year 2002 shows the highest number of dogs vaccinated against rabies this was in response to the incident in 2001 wherein 10 people died of rabies. It is also the year that the ordinance was passed and the year that there were 17 persons bitten by one dog in Barangay Pasonanca alone.

Table shows the number of animal bite report from the Animal Bite Centers, namely the City Health Office which was established in 2004 and the Office of the City Veterinarian. The increasing numbers is an indication that people have a positive response to the Awareness Campaign on the danger of rabies.

This table shows the number of human mortality due to Rabies. The year 2001 shows the highest mortality rate hence the passage of the ordinance and the enforcement thereof.
