DEAR ME Chapter One – The Plan It has been five years since the war the Magic Community started with the Muggles. In those five years, the Magical World was able to permanently take care of Voldmort and his fellow Death Eaters. Before Voldmort was taken care of, the fight caused the Muggles to know about the Magical World. So when the Magical World thought the war with Voldmort was over, they suddenly had to face the Muggles that wanted to know more about them. The Magical World thought that they were going to be able to make the Muggles ‘forget’ what Voldmort caused and their existence, but some of the Muggles had come across a substance that made them resistant to that spell. When the Muggles realized what the Magical World was doing, it caused worldwide panic. The substance the Muggles had had come from a meteorite that had crashed into Earth years ago. The Muggles found out about the substances special ability when the people who have been exposed to the meteorite found out they were resistant to spells that were cast on them. So the substance gave the Muggles the edge they needed to even out the war, since another ability that was found out was that if a wizard or witch was injected with the substance, it cause them to have trouble casting any spells. So the war has been going on for five years now with casualties on both sides. But like most wars, there is a rebel fraction that is consisted of members of both sides that want the war to finish in a peaceful solution for both sides. Since the war doesn’t look like it will be finishing any time soon, they decided to come up with a plan that would stop the war before it even began. The Muggles has a base that has created a device that has the ability to send people through time. So the rebel fraction decided to send a small group into that base and use the device to hopefully stop the war before it even began. So a group of five rebels made their way to the base, using some plans and codes that were stolen or bought. The entrance they were going to use was through the old prison tunnels. “Zach, are you sure this is the right way?” Complained a long, brown haired girl as she stepped into a puddle of stuff she really didn’t want to know what it was. “For the last time Moine, this is the way that the map, and the information we got, so we don’t come across too many soldiers.” Zach replied angrily. “Will you two stop arguing all the time?” A red haired with a lot of freckles on her face called out. “Gin, sweetheart, leave the two love birds alone.” Another red head girl said. “I know that, Lilith, but I’m just tired of hearing them argue all the time.” Ginny said to Lilith. “But they act like my brothers did, but if they aren’t acting like siblings, I guess they could be love birds.” “We are not love birds!” Both Zach and Hermoine quietly argued back, but it just caused Lilith and Ginny to smile at each other. “Quiet you four, the prison cells are just ahead and they are not as abandoned as we thought.” The fifth member of their group said as he approached the group from where they were heading. “What do you see, Devon?” Zach asked after a bit. “Just two guards, but it seems that a few of the cells here are in use.” Devon replied. “But we were told that this way wouldn’t be in use.” Lilith said. “Well, the time we got this information to now has been a long time. Looks like they decided to use these cells after all, or it’s because the Army here is now holding more wizards and witches than the newer cells can hold.” Zach replied to Lilith. “Then we better take care of those guards before they find out about us and sound the alarm.” Lilith said after a small debate in her head. The other four agreed with her and they all drew their weapons. They quietly snuck towards the two guards and waited for the right moment to strike. When the guard’s attention was away from them, they quickly fired their weapons and the two guards were dead before they knew what hit them. They then quickly gathered the two guards, dragged them into an empty cell and closed the door, and then made it look like there wasn’t anything wrong in the area. After a quick debate, they decided to let the prisoners out and give them a chance to escape. The group found out that there were only six prisoners using the cells, so they started releasing them and telling them how to get out of the complex that they were in, but the one that Ginny was going to help, she recognized the person. “Oh, my God, Lilith, come here and see who this is.” Ginny called Lilith over excitedly. Lilith came over and looked into the room to see the person Ginny pointed out. Lilith saw a woman laying on the bed unconscious, who had long black hair and had oriental features. Her clothes were very dirty and she had bruises and other cuts and scrapes all around her body that Lilith could see. It took a few moments, but Lilith recognized who the person is. “Cho!” Lilith exclaimed as she ran into the room to try and wake her up, but Cho remained unconscious. “A friend of yours?” Devon asked as he came into the room to see what was up. “She was a fellow student with us at Hogwarts.” Ginny replied. “We need to get going. Freeing the prisoners took too much time.” Zach said as he and Hermione came in to see what was taking the others so long. “Well, we better take her with us, since we can’t leave her here and the others are not in any condition to take her.” Hermione said as she recognized Cho also. “Fine, Devon, can you carry her?” Zach asked. “Yes.” Devon said as he went over and picked Cho up into his arms and was surprised at how light she weighed. Lilith and Ginny glanced at each other as they noticed the look Devon was giving Cho. The group then started making their way again to the room that held the device they were looking for, being extra careful now due to Devon having to carry Cho. After a struggling twenty minutes of avoiding roving guards and surveillance cameras, they arrived around the corner to the room they were looking for. They quickly took out the camera and the two guards at the door and hoped that the codes they had would open the door to the room. After a great relieved sigh, the door opened to the room and they quickly made sure the room was secured before they entered and closed the door again. Zach and Hermione went over to the computers and started turning the machine on. While the machine was warming up, the two of them started inputting the coordinates they needed to use, while the others went and stood inside the embarkation chamber. One of the problems the others had was that Zach and Hermione kept arguing about who had the proper coordinates for their destination. At about that point, the base wide alarm started to sound. “Sounds like they found out about their guards being dead or they found their prisoners escaping.” Ginny called out. “You two better come to an agreement soon, or we will be caught, because it won’t take them long to figure out that we are here.” Lilith said. Zach and Hermione looked at each other and decided on a good coordinate. “You better stand in the chamber, I’m going to activate the machine.” Zach said to Hermione. So as Zach started the count down, Hermione entered the chamber and watched as Zach grabbed a handheld device from a nearby computer and entered the chamber before the door sealed shut. Before the count down finished, the door to the room exploded and in rushed several armed soldiers. As Zach looked down at the handheld, he saw that only a few seconds remained, while the rest of the group watched as the soldiers started shooting at them. Luckily for the group, the chamber and its door was bullet-proof, but unfortunately, the bullets ricocheted off and hit the nearby computer consoles and computer banks, causing them to start sparking. Just as the count down finished, the group felt a pulling sensation in their gut as they noticed the soldiers brining in bigger weapons. Suddenly a bright light occurred and they had to close their eyes and then they felt a dropping sensation.
