Chapter Ten
*******
Green flames suddenly had engulfed Makoto as she was
thinking about what she was going to do about the aliens, if only
she had her powers. Everyone was worried and shocked when the
flames engulfed Makoto. Before anyone could do anything, the
flames disappeared. Everyone’s worry suddenly became amazement,
for standing where Makoto was, was now Sailor Jupiter.
But it surprised everyone because her fuku was different.
It seemed her color scheme to her fuku was switched. Her color
for the bows had remained the same, but it was the bodysuit,
gloves, skirt, and boots that had changed colors. Where her
boots were white with a green strip at the top, was now green
with a white strip. Her green skirt was now white, while her
bodysuit and gloves are now green with white edges. Her tiara
went from gold with an emerald, to platinum with an emerald.
After everyone got over the shock, they noticed that Jupiter
was smiling.
“Whoa.” “What happened?” “How’d you do that?” “What’s up
with the colors being switched?” Were some of the questions
that had suddenly started flying about. After several more
questions were asked with no answers being available, Ami had
decided to pull out her computer and did a scan. After she
did a scan, she frowned at the results. She put her computer
away as everyone looked at her in confused worry.
“What is it, what’s wrong?” Usagi asked.
“The good news is we all can transform again.” Ami
replied as several smiles appeared on peoples faces.
“What’s the bad news?” Rei asked.
“Since we have limited training in Ki/Chi, we are
restricted on how long we can stay transformed.” Ami said.
“What do you mean?” Haruka asked.
“Since we don’t have as much Ki/Chi as Ranma and Ryoga,
the more we use of ours, the less time we can stay transformed.”
Ami replied.
“Then it looks like we have to try and increase your guys’
Ki/Chi.” Ranma said.
“But why are the colors on her Fuku switched?” Chibi-Usa
asked.
“It may be caused because of the source of power used to
transform.” Artemis said.
“”What do you mean?” Chibi-Usa asked.
“The difference between Mana and Ki/Chi.” Luna replied.
“The difference between an internal power source and an external
power source.”
“What?” Now several of the Senshi were getting confused.
“Mana is an external power source and it created your Fuku’s
accordingly. Ki/Chi is an internal power source so it switched
the colors.” Luna tried to explain better.
“Oh.” Several of the Senshi now understood.
So the Senshi started training while Jupiter practiced with
her new Ki/Chi based attacks, which still looked to have an
electrical look to them.
* * * * *
The Captain stood by a window that over looked the captives.
He smiled as he saw that most of them were practically unconscious,
if not all ready. He had read over the latest reports of the
energy they’ve collected, and he smiled when he saw that the energy
they collected from their hostages was much more then they had
anticipated. With the constant interference of trying to collect
energy from Japan, they had a better way of collecting energy.
So he decided that they should get more of those people
to drain. So he had Commander Geurig collect more of those
people. When Commander Geurig returned from his mission, he
had returned with four more people. The people that were
captured were Soun, Genma, Kuno, and Mousse. Once they were
strapped into the device, the captain smiled when their energy
collection almost doubled. So the captain walked off to plan
for another site to drain.
* * * * *
The Senshi with Ranma and Ryoga, were getting angrier
with the aliens they were fighting. Nabiki had passed the
news to Ranma that the aliens had tried again to kidnap her,
so she is now in hiding, but she had received word that Mousse,
Kuno, Genma, and Soun had disappeared and Nabiki believes that
it was the same people that got the others. After Ranma
informed the Senshi, they started talking about why the aliens
wanted more of Ranma and Ryoga’s friends. They realized the
aliens were doing something more with them than using them as
hostages.
During their daily training, Hotaru was determined to
help her Uncles out. She remembered on how Makoto explained
how she was able to transform. So while Ranma and Ryoga were
off to the side, helping out one of the others, Hotaru was off
to the side trying to transform. When she was about to give
up on trying to transform, she got a more determined look and
tried it one more time. Suddenly everyone turned to where
Hotaru was standing when a burst of purple flames appeared
there.
When everyone turned in that direction, they saw a smiling
Sailor Saturn. After everyone got over the surprise of seeing
that Hotaru was the second one to transform, they all congratulated
her on her success, even when some of them were a little envious
of her. Just like Jupiter, Saturn’s color scheme was reversed.
After everyone went back to training, Hotaru decided to continue
practicing in her new Senshi mode.
Hotaru now felt that she was becoming stronger since they
found out what was wrong with her. She was very happy that she
was able to transform and she did notice the few looks the others
were giving, wishing they could transform also. After the others
had started training, Hotaru pulled Ranma off to the side to have
a word with him. Ranma agreed and they walked off to the side.
Hotaru then started and asked Ranma to continue training her in
Anything Goes techniques besides Chi based attacks. Ranma
thought for a moment and agreed to help her out.
After they had received news about the latest kidnapping,
Ranma and Ryoga intensified the training to help the Senshi
build up their internal energy faster and try to build up
enough of it. While Ranma and Ryoga were training the Senshi,
they noticed that Hotaru and Chibi-Usa was training twice as
much as the others. So they continued the training in hopes
of being ready to face the aliens the next time they strike.
* * * * *
The next plot that the aliens decided to attack was the
World Cup Soccer match, being held in Japan. The aliens knew
that the Senshi and their two friends would be unable to stop
them. At the end result, the aliens were able to drain about
twenty-thousand people. When the Senshi heard about the attack,
they were angry because they were unable to do anything because
they weren’t ready and because of the hostages.
What the aliens didn’t know, was when they had kidnapped
the second group, they were being followed. The aliens, when
they kidnapped Kuno, they failed to notice his ninja servant,
Sasuke, had followed them. After Sasuke made his way out of
the portal, he quickly made his way out of the alien’s base and
realized where they were hiding. So he made his way back to
Tokyo. Once he made his way back to Tokyo, he called up Nabiki
to inform her what he had found out. The reason he informed
Nabiki is that he is on her payroll. Nabiki then got a hold of
Ranma and informed him on what she knew, so that caused Ranma
and Ryoga to start the training of the Senshi to increase.
* * * * *
It was two days after they received the information about
where the aliens were located. At the time for dinner on the
second day, the rest of the Senshi was able to transform. Just
like Jupiter and Saturn, their color scheme was reversed, with
the exception of Mamoru and Usagi. Usagi’s color scheme was the
reverse of her first Fuku, and Mamoru found himself in a leather
armor version of his Endymion armor. When they all got over
their excitement, they started planning what to do while they ate.
“So what are we going to do?” Haruka asked.
“From what Nabiki said, they don’t know we know where they
are.” Ranma replied.
“So we have the element of surprise on them?” Makoto asked.
“Even if we surprise them, we really don’t know how many of
them there are. We could be over come before we reach the
hostages.” Ami said.
“I say we split into two groups. One will be the distraction
for the other group, who will rescue the hostages.” Rei said.
“Who will be in each group?” Mamoru asked.
After several minutes of debate and argument, it was finally
decided. Ranma, Ryoga, Chibi-Usa, and Hotaru will rescue the
hostages, and all the rest will distract the aliens. Ranma and
Ryoga explained that they could use their Ki/chi outside of their
Senshi mode. So they planned for them to sneak inside and cause
a commotion and then transform. It would give them an element
of surprise along with them showing up. Once they were done
planning, Ranma and Ryoga had the Senshi sleep of the night to
be well rested and they would strike in the morning. After
making sure that all the Senshi were asleep, and for those that
were having trouble sleeping, Ranma hit their sleep pressure
point. After that, they went and fell asleep themselves.
When morning came around, they made their way to the
alien’s base. Once they were there, Ranma’s group snuck in a
side entrance while the other group went into the main entrance.
When the guards noticed them and sounded the alarm, they went
after them but stopped in their tracks when several bursts of
flames surround the intruders. When the flames disappeared,
they were surprised to see the Senshi standing in front of them.
When the surprise wore off, the Senshi had started attacking
them.
Meanwhile, Ranma’s group was sneaking about, trying to
figure out where they were keeping the hostages. Chibi-Usa
and Hotaru decided to go in their normal Senshi mode. As
they were sneaking around, keeping out of sight of the aliens
until the other group had the aliens occupied. When the alarm
sounded, they knew the others have started their part, so they
started making their way to where they thought the hostages
were kept.
En route they realized that not all of the aliens went to
fight the other group. They saw them a little too late as they
fired their guns at them. They tried to dive out of the way,
but Saturn and Chibi-Moon weren’t fast enough and got clipped
by the weapon’s blast. When they landed, they noticed that
the knick that they took didn’t hurt them except when they
landed on the floor. What they also noticed was that the little
hit they took also deactivated their normal Senshi mode.
So when the aliens thought they had them, they closed in
on them to finish them off. The girls decided to surprise them
and switched to their other mode. The aliens stopped in their
tracks as a burst of purple and pink flames surrounded the girls.
They stood there confused until the flames disappeared and then
they were in surprise as they saw the girls standing there in
Fuku’s again. That gave the time for Ranma and Ryoga to quickly
subdue the aliens. Once they made sure the aliens weren’t going
to bother them, they continued on their way.
They ran down a passageway and were going to continue when
Chibi-Moon saw something out of the corner of her eye. So they
stopped and checked out what she noticed. A surprise to them,
they realized that they had found where the aliens were keeping
the hostages. They found the way inside easily and checked the
conditions of the hostages. They were all relieved to find that
they were all alive, but some of them were just unconscious.
They realized that the hostages were hooked up to some sort of
device, so they looked around to find the controller. When
they did find it, they couldn’t figure out what to do to turn
it off.
“If Mercury was here, she could probably figure it out.”
Chibi-Moon said.
“We don’t have time for that.” Ranma said.
“Leave it to me.” Ryoga said and they stood back when they
saw the look in his eyes. “Shi Shi Hokodan!”
Ryoga fired his chi blast at the controller, destroying it.
After the sparks and smoke cleared, they saw that the controller
was trashed and the humming noise they heard was gone. So they
went over and started getting the people off the devices. Once
they were all off of the devices, Ranma and Ryoga told them to
follow Saturn and Chibi-Moon out of the place. Ranma and Ryoga
told them that it wasn’t debatable and they needed to get the
ones that couldn’t fight out of there, and then Ranma and Ryoga
had to go and make sure the others were all right.
Once all the others were safely headed out, those that
couldn’t walk were being carried by the others. Ranma and
Ryoga headed in the direction of the combat they could hear.
After they followed the noise, they came across the fight.
After they took a quick glance to survey the battle, they
didn’t like what they saw. They saw that Sailor moon, Jupiter,
and Mercury were out cold and the other Senshi were either
protecting them or fighting the aliens. They saw that the Senshi
were holding their own, but it was obvious that they were going
to lose if they didn’t get help soon. So they jumped into the
battle and suddenly the tide of the battle jumped into the Senshi’s
favor.
After a few minutes, both sides were paused in fighting
when the alien’s captain came out to face them. Their fight
had led Ranma and Ryoga into the control room. After making
sure the hostages were all right waiting for them, Saturn and
Chibi-Moon joined the others. When the fight led to the control
room, it was Mars, Pluto, Saturn, and Chibi-Moon that followed
Ranma and Ryoga. The others made sure Moon, Mercury, and Jupiter
were all right and carried them out to where the hostages were
waiting, made sure the aliens didn’t follow them, and waited for
the others to show up. So now Ranma and Ryoga were facing the
Captain of the aliens.
“So you two have finally showed up. You two have been a
thorn in my plans since you showed up.” The Captain said.
“Defending the weaker in our responsibility.” Ranma said.
“I won’t have you two disrupting my plans any more.” The
captain said.
“Bring it on.” Ryoga said.
It was about that time that the four Senshi that were
following Ranma and Ryoga caught up with them in time to see them
charge the captain. They watched on in horror as the captain
pulled a weapon out from behind him and fired at Ranma and Ryoga.
Ranma and Ryoga were charging to fast to dodge fully and caught a
partial of the blast, causing them to be blown backwards into the
wall near the Senshi. When they landed, they weren’t moving.
The Senshi rushed over and checked up on them. They sighed in
relief when they found them alive, but no matter what they did,
they couldn’t get them to wake up. They looked up at the captain
when he started laughing.
“Now that they are out of the way, it will be only a matter
of time before this world will be ours to do with as we please.
I also know a few races that will pay a good sum to have pretty
little things like you four.” The captain said.
“We’ll never surrender to you.” Rei yelled.
“You’ll have no choice, with the two of them out of the way;
it will be only a matter of time. Who knows? I may keep one of
you for myself.” The captain said laughing at the idea.
“No!” Saturn yelled standing up. Both the captain and the
other three looked at Saturn as she started glowing a dark purple.
“We will stop you right here right now.”
“You can try little girl.” The captain said smiling.
Saturn started making her way to the captain before the other
three could stop her. The captain smiled evilly as he raised the
weapon to point it at her. The other three cried out in horror as
the captain fired at Saturn. To the amazement of them, Saturn just
swatted the blast off to the side with no effect to her.
“You had your chance, here’s mine. Moko Takabisha!” Saturn
said.
Saturn fired off a chi blast and caught the captain square
in the chest. The captain, with the chi blast, went into a control
panel that was behind the captain. The control panel started
sparking as the captain was being electrocuted. Once the sparking
stopped, an alarm started going off and the ship started shaking.
Realizing what was going to happen, the other three Senshi
got Saturn’s attention and they picked up Ranma and Ryoga and they
started running out of the ship. As they were running, they saw
the aliens were more concerned about saving the ship than trying
to stop them. As they made their way outside and to where the
others waiting, they shouted out to them.
“Hit the dirt, it’s going to blow!”
