Farmington's modest two game winning streak came to screaching halt Sunday in North Prairie. A five run second inning off of Phil Hochmuth proved to be all the scoring they needed, as Dave Weber gave his typical stellar performance.
Four consecutive singles by Kim Walters, Mando Hernandez, Billy Toshner, and Matt Houk set the stage for a 2-run double by Jon Stillman. The Dawgs added another two in the third, one in the sixth, and three in the seventh for good measure.
Houk also continued his career mastery over Farmington relief hurler Scott Hueckman, as he homered over the leftfield fence. The (2-4) Braves will try and get back on the winning track next Sunday in Rome.
