In a game shortened to seven innings, due to the fact the Braves were scheduled to play a SWABA game at 5 pm, the Rivermen quickly brought the Braves winning streak to halt.

The Rivermen opened up a can on Braves hurler Phil Hochmuth, right from the on set. Jason Morgan and Gunnar Axelson each had four-hit days for Waterford. Pitcher Chris Harmeling did his usual act on the mound, going all seven innings and allowing only one, seventh inning, run.

The loss drops the Braves to and even .500 (5-5). Their next contest will be July 4th in Delavan.
