These were taken at the school where I was assistant-teaching English, Lycee Jules Garnier at Noumea, New Caledonia. Technically they were for an internet project I was doing with one of my classes, but I figured I'd nab a few while I had custody of the disk. (I love digital cameras.) We got the photo of the bougainvillea just in time; it was severely pruned a couple days later.
