Weird Stuff I've Found Out Through Experience and Hearsay™

1. If you take aspirin with hot coffee, the bitter taste of the aspirin is absorbed by the coffee, even if it's *shudder* melting in your mouth. Neat, hunh?
   
   
2. Putting Nintendo tapes in the freezer and getting them 'drunk' off of rubbing alcohol makes them work better. So does throwing them up against the wall.
   
   
3. Letting your cat eat poisoned mice will give it a stomach ache and/or kill it. So will shooting it in the gut with a shotgun.
   
   
4. Water moccasin bites are not fatal, if you can suck the poison out in a timely manner. (My dad's done this one before.)
   
   
5. Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades...and rotten eggs. Trust me on this one.
   
   
6. Oil of anise is a great fishing tool, and it smells like licorice!
   
   
7. Olivia Newton-John was 30 something when she played the part of a teenager in *another shudder* Grease. So was John Travolta.
