Ch. 4
Juuhachigou rounded the truck fairly quickly, on the verge of demanding an answer, any answer, to the question she had so hesitantly asked. When she approached Juunanagou, he silenced her with a shake of his head and a gesture to the sky.
She looked at him quizzically, but obeyed the unspoken request to look up. Using her keen eyesight, she scanned first the area directly above and just ahead of her, then the horizon. Juuhachi blinked as she saw what he had meant, for her eyes now rested upon an advanced type of space vessel hovering just above the atmosphere.
"What is it?" she asked rhetorically, knowing that if she didn't know what it was, chances were he didn't either. Surprising her, Juunana answered.
"Obviously an alien ship of some kind. Probably from deep space, since I have no data files on it, or anything even close to it's design." Then he smirked, as an idea occurred to him. "Why don't we ask the ones flying it?"
As his sister reluctantly nodded, Juunanagou formed a small, concentrated ball of energy in the palm of his hand. Tossing it effortlessly into the sky, he played perfectly the part of a cold hearted, ruthless villain. 17 watched in some amusement the tiny but nonetheless effective blast making its way toward the Absolution lookalike, then smiled cruelly. (We're talking the Toonami ship here, folks. Has anyone ever noticed how similar the two are?)
We have better things to do...and talk about, Juuhachi thought in irritation. Sometimes her brother's destructive tendencies annoyed her, especially when they interfered with things she deemed important.
Then again...this could be entertaining.
Causing mayhem and chaos pleased 18 almost as much as it did the occasionally murderous 17, and she wasn't about to pass up on a chance to satisfy her dark nature.

Mindless of the doom approaching the earthbound ship, unaware of the vessel's very existence in fact, the partial gathering of Earth's Special Forces tried to relax and enjoy the precious peace that they knew, thanks to Mirai Trunks' timeline jumping, would be invaded all too soon by the impending battle with the androids.
Gohan, Roshi, and Krillin pondered Piccolo's abruptly voiced opinion of Gero's destructive duo for some time, but Yamcha put the whole thing out of his mind, as usual. He wasn't about to worry with something he had no control over; that wasn't his style.
The former desert bandit stood, planning on raiding Roshi's refridgerator, when he sensed two familiar power levels approaching Kame House. Before he could make their presence known however, Krillin jumped out of his chair and announced, "Hey, you guys, Tien and Chiaotsu are here!"
Gohan rose as well, unconsciously balling his fists in excitement. "Oh boy! I can't wait to see how they're doing!"
Piccolo merely nodded, remaining aloof for fear of tarnishing his reputation as a silent loner, thereby opening himself up for the bother of conversation.

Higher and higher the small, seemingly harmless sphere of light travelled, until it reached its destination, where it impacted with the spaceship at a carefully calculated point, somewhere on the blocky yet smooth rear. Rendering the star cruiser incapable of normal flight, Juunanagou's blast had forced it to make an unscheduled landing. One that, due to the damage done and rate of altitude loss, would be relatively near the androids' current location. It would not make it far, that much was certain, as smoke billowed out of the now demolished back half of the ship.
Plummeting towards the earth, the interplanetary vehicle looked like it was going to plunge straight into the ground. But as it fell, the angle at which it did so changed suddenly and dramatically, no doubt due to the skill of the pilot inside. This pulled the entire ship into a more stable drop, one which would, hopefully for whomever was inside, result in a crash landing and not just a flat out crash.
Faster and faster rocketed the spacecraft, bent on slamming itself into the unforgiving ground. Then, inexplicably, it started to deccelerate, as if it were a plane in a Warner Brothers cartoon using airbrakes. Another glimpse of the aptitude inherent in whoever or whatever was flying the thing. It didn't come to a complete stop, however, as would a Looney Tunes jet flown by Bugs Bunny, nor did it slow enough to avoid impact with the mountains below. Instead, the ship's speed reduced only so far as to enable it to avert total annihilation, and possibly create a landing that just might be something less than catastrophic. Something favorable enough to walk away from.
