'Joey'
This little guy is amazing! Joey is only 10hh and can jump his own height (note where the arena kick wall is)!!! He is a First Premium Sport Pony stallion, belonging to my long-time friend, Mandi Hickman of Elderberry Stables. He is one of the smartest horses/ponies that I have ever trained- I've never needed to teach him anything twice. His training has progressed very fast because of this. I am very proud of him, and can't wait to see what he can do as he learns more.
Interested in breeding to Joey? He is smart, well built and never spooky. He looks like a mini warmblood, and has tons of presence! He is very athletic and moves like a horse many times his size- not just choppy little pony gaits. His jumping ability is amazing (I have seen him jump 3'6" with ease!!), and he always has a great 'wants to please you' attitude. I have put kids on him a couple of times with very limited training so far and he has always been a gentleman. I would definitely recommend breeding to Joey to anyone wishing to produce a quality kid's show pony.
