Assembly

At this point, I am only attaching the transmission to the motor so I can locate the transmission mount before I paint the frame.

The old transmission mount I removed added quite a bit of strength to the frame.  Therefore, it is essential that the new one you fabricate does just as well.

I made my cross member from two pieces of channel and a piece of tubing.  In addition, I added a brace a few inches back to add additional strength to the top of the frame.

The following pictures show how the assembly looks.  Notice the notch cut in the bell housing around the starter cap...be sure not to cut too much....just enough to get by.

You can see the second brace I added to the frame in the second picture.

At this point, I tore everything back down and painted the frame.  Check back for later updates!!!!!
