Man in the Window

The man was startled by the image he saw in his window. He reached out
his right hand to touch the cool, smooth glass that made up the window. The
window to his soul. Who is that man reflected there?
Tall. Grey hair. Long face. Deepset dark eyes, under a high forehead.
A mouth that looked like it had known laughter. Is that himself that he
sees reflected before him? He desparately wanted it to be true.
He now no longer remembered the man that was reflected before him. Then the figure suddenly smiled. And he wanted it to be true.
