A Few Simple Rules About Love/Life

1. Love someone not just for who they are, but for who you are when you are with them.
2. No man is worth your tears, and the one who is, won't make you cry.
3. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you wish they did, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.
4. A true friend is someone that reaches for your hand when you need it and touches your heart.
5. The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can't have them.
6. Try not to frown, you never know who could be falling in love with your smile.
7. To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
8. Don't waste your time on a man who isn't willing to waste their time on you.
9. I'm sure we have to meet a few bad guys before we meet the right one, that way we will know better how to be gratefull.
10. Try not to cry when it is over, try to smile because it happened.
11. There will always be guys that hurt you but you have to keep trusting the next one. Just remember to be a bit more aware next time.
12. Try to make yourself a better person and know who you are before you try to know someone else.

Chris and Bob, Two of the greatest people in my life. I have known them for almost as long as they have been together, 23 years.
See, gay couples can make it work.
I cannot say enough good things about these guys and how much they mean to me in this small space.

This is Gary. He's from Taiwan and I've been chatting with him for over two years now. He has come to be one of my closest and dearest friends. One of my goals in life is to someday meet up with him and spend time with him in person. He holds a special place in my heart that will remain with me forever.

This is my friend John (with his friend Dennis) in his native american regalia. I've only known John from online chat but he is one of the most sincere, true and honest people I know. I would trust him with my life, I already trust him with too many of my secrets.

Beth - We met in Denver at school and only had 6 months to get to know each other there. We have since lived far apart in different cities but have stayed and become the best of friends. I'd call her a sister but sisters are made by blood and we have a bond that goes deeper than that.

Chava - The 18 years that I lived in Chicago I met scores of people, many of which I would call friends. But she and I bonded the first time we met. She is the closest thing I will ever have to a wife. I miss her deeply since I moved back to Michigan but I know everytime I see her it will be like I never left. She is the reason I survived there as long as I did.

Greg - I went to his chatroom more than 4 years ago on a lark and have been going back there since. He is one of the sweetest and coolest guys I've ever known. We are so much alike at times that it's scarey. Needless to say that makes him one amazing guy.

Kevin - Kevin and I clicked as soon as we started talking to each other. He lives in CA and calls where I live "flyover country" He is the only guy I know that can say that and actually make me laugh. Whenever we talk my stomach hurts from his sense of humor. He's also been there for me when things were tough and helped me in many ways, for that I owe him much.

This is a new photo of my friend John. As you can see he is a shrinking man (in a good way) so I thought I would add a new updated one. He wanted me to take the old one off but Dennis is just too cute in that one to delete it.

These are my good friends Michael and Louis. They also live here in my city and are the cutest couple. I met Michael because I wanted to see the big beautiful house he lives in but we immediately became fast and good friends. He is married to one of the sweetest guys named Yao-Yu aka Louis. They have been together over two years. I have had some of the best adventures with them I have ever had including a few trips to Chicago and a great time at the Detroit Jazz Fest this summer. I know we will be friends for ever.
