This is GWAR's earliest video before even an album was released. On it is one of GWAR's earliest lineups with Russ Bahorsky and Sean Sumner in the band still. This is also before Oderus Sang, he was on bass instead with Joey Slutman singing never released versions of "Americanized" "U Ain't Shit" and "GWAR Theme." The first fight with Techno on video where he first tries to change them and get them on the master's side. Early costumes look amaturish and alike but the show is still violent so it's cool.
RAWGWAR(1989)
This is GWAR's longest video, never officially released, like it's short predecesor, it was released for promo reasons. It has really early versions of GWAR tunes like "Slaughterama" lyrics over "Techno's Song" music, and a never released "Cardinal Syn" Theme. It's also the longest video in their collection containing almost two hours of live and sick GWAR. It includes appearences by pookie, the hippie, redneck from hell, anton reemcob and others. The quality is poor but look at all the songs:
This video was sent out to cable television and MTV as a promotioan tool for GWAR before initially being released as a slavepit video in 1991. It's sort of a sequel RAWGWAR with a lot better quality. This video includes all the GWAR's wonderful appearances on the cable access show Dr. Gruesome in addition to an early MTV apearance from 1989. Many of the the things here also appeared in their first Metal Blade video live from Anarctica. The version of "King Queen" on here is a nearly completely different one from that on the alum.
Live from Antarctica(1990)
This is the first half of what would become the Tour De Scum video which includes similar but earlier versions of songs to be on the third GWAR album.
This is basically a short form movie where Techno has been reduced to being a cab driver who's fury is ignited when two annoying groupies ask to be driven to a GWAR show. Techno calls on Cardinal Syn's forces to help him but instead, they fight him and leave him a bloody mess. Background music includes "Rock & Roll Party Town" "World o' Filth" and the Live from Antarctica Version of "Techno's Song"
Hooray, released on Metal Blade video is GWAR's first MOVIE! That's right, they've entered the world of celluloid. This film is a violent ride through GWAR's world as they parody Oderus' run in with the law when he had to sue Athens Georgie when a GWAR show was shut down on obscenity charges claimin Oderus' cuttle fish was simulating a penis. (which it is) in the movie, the morality squad steals the cuttle fish and puts it on trial. This film also contains five music videos! The soundtrack is songs from the America Must Be Destroyed album, hoora.
This is GWAR's third video for Metal Blade videos. This is a combination of the All the Sex and Twice the Violence short form videos with some stuff ommitted. They fight the morality squad, rape a religious fat chick with weapons, and more.
Skulhedface(1994)
GWAR's second movie and fourth release through Metal Blade. This time, they face the infamous Skulhedface who attempts to turn them into a saturday morning cartoon. After that failed, he attempts to steal their Jizz and homogonize them. They end up gang raping skulhedface. The soundtrack is songs from This Toilet Earth. Sorry, no music videos.
TVD(1994)
Released through the slave pit, GWAR compiles all of their television appearances from the first half of the 90's. This includes all the talk show appearances.
The Return of Techno Destructo(1996)
This video was released through the slave pit only is a kick ass collection of old stuff on one video. Revisit Techno's past through the clip from the GWAR must be destroyed video, concert performances and the original return of techno video from 1991. Contains an hour and a half to warp your brain.
Rendezvous with RagNaRok(1997)
Metal Blade video number five: Contents include three awsome music videos and live performances from the second 1996 leg of the RagNaRok tour. The first GWAR video of more recent performances. Between songs we're treated with commentary by witnesess of the alien invasion and cardinal syn. The witnessess are of course Beefcake, Flattus, Techno in slave form and others. Great disgusting continuation of live trilogy but unfortunately, all songs that come from the RagNaRok album are the studio versions dubbed over the live performances. Acts of violence include the violent birthing of slymenstra and oderus' baby.
Dawn of the Day of the Night of the Penguins(1998)
Gwar's latest metal blade video release includes a live performance from the Carnival of Chaos tour. Onstage mayhem includes slaughtering penguins, decapitating the pope and a glorious battle with Techno Destructo
A Surprising Burst of Chocolate Fudge(1998)
This is a slave pit only release of GWAR's infamous 1997 Halloween show. I don't know the set list, sorry.
