She was the sole survivor why? Who knows really. Since she was stuck on the planet without any money she fought in competitions working her way to the top rank and the best fighter in the land. After a few years she had enough money to buy a ship. Hearing there were a few saiya-jins on the planet Earth after Vegetas destruction she set her destination to Earth.
