THE LEGEND OF ZELDA OCARINA OF TIME

By far the greatest game to be released on the N64 or on any of the nextgen systems for that matter. Ocarina Of Time would be the best selling Zelda game in the series and to be named the best game ever to be released by countless top 100 games sites and magazines.

                The release of this Zelda game would finely put gamers into the world of Zelda full             force. With its new 3D world people could finely interact with links world in a whole new way allowing them to not only play but live Zelda. This game would                               add many new species into the game, it would no longer be just the Hylain's and the occasional Zora. The new Zelda would now feature the Gorons, Kokiri,                                 Sheikiak and the Gerudo. It also featured and and very usefully innovative targeting system that would eventually find its way into many other games.                                                     With the new 3D environment allowing for a much larger freedom of movement, was no longer limited to just spins and thrusts, he could                                                          now flip slash and even jump thrust his way through a room of enemies.

        Many believe this to be the very beginning for                                                                                                                                           the entire Zelda Universe. In this game you are and abandoned hylian child living with the                                                                                                                                                      Kokiri. You eventually leave their forest home in search of 3 spiritual stones for the                                                                                                                                                                princess Zelda, only to have Ganondorf use links quest to his advantage. When                                                                                                                                                    Link uses the stones to open the Chamber inside the Temple Ganondorf uses the                                                                                                                                                     opportunity to gain access to the sacred realm causing link to be trapped inside it for 7                                                                                                                                           years. Hyrule is thrown into a time of darkness and it is up to Link to awaken the 7 sages                                                                                                                                                 and free Princess Zelda from the clutches of Ganondorf.

re-released with The Wind Waker for those who preordered

it and then again in the LOZ collectors edition.

I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo redid the game in         newer updated graphic much like if not better then the up coming Twilite  Princess.
