Q: Why didn't you include Deku Scrubs, Moblins, Subrosians or Tokay as playable races?

A: A variety of reasons. One is that those races are really are monster races, not character races. Another is that the Deku Scrub in particular isn't combat effective. There are more reasons, but I don't want to babble on with the whole list. Suffice to say, we decided that they wouldn't be appropriate races.

Q: Why isn’t there stat bonus to (insert name here) race?

A: Not every race needs a stat bonus. There has to be game balance when it is played, and giving bonuses where they are not due unbalance the game. It is an amateur mistake to think every race needs a bonus.

Q: Why didn’t you include paladin or monk as playable classes?

A: It was decided by the majority of game designers that those classes weren’t entirely appropriate to the game setting. If you really want to be a certain class we didn’t include, just play it anyway.

Q: Why isn’t (insert name here) a prestige class?

A: This is a work in progress, so if you have an idea for a prestige class let us know and we’ll see if it works.

Q: Why didn’t you list (insert name here) in the item lists?

A: The PHB and Dungeon Masters guide already included it or something like it, or the item was impossible to convert to a d20 game setting and still have game balance.

Q: Why isn’t there a table of contents?

A: Once again, this is a work in progress, and the table of contents will come with a final release.

Q: Your book has this and that different from the other guides I’ve seen. Why?

A: Our interpretation is different, so our game is different. Play with whichever guide feels most comfortable for you.
