The Zora were created thousands of years ago by Farore herself while she and her sisters were in the midst of creating the world. Designed to be the guardians of the water, the Zora took their positions very seriously, defending the waterways from all polution. Ruled by a Benevolent king, always named Zora, and blessed by the presence of their patron Deity, Jabu Jabu, all was good in the land known as Zora's Domain, until the fourth Royal Generation.

King Zora IV chose poorly when selecting his trusted advisor and commander of his royal forces, General Zola. Zola was a greedy being, always thirsting for power, and he eventually began an uprising against King Zora. The Zora Civil War was short but furious, and General Zola's forces were driven out, banished forever from Zora's Domain and their whereabouts not known or cared about by the Zora at the time.

Since that day, the Zora have lived on in peace within their domain, many Royal Generations coming and going, but they are always shadowed in some way, by existance of their eternal enemies: The Zola. The Zora, however, do not know their connection to their enemies.

- Lifestyle -

The society of the Zora is what could only be described as a Benevolent Monarchy. Their King, always named Zora, is either the Eldest son or the husband of the eldest daughter of the previous king. This practice has remained for the Zoras entire history, and should remain for aeons to come.

- Appearance -

The Zora are very majestic in appearance, their entier bodies almost artistic in design. They possess angular, sharp fins which both aid in swimming and can be used as weapons. Their skin is slick and smooth, like a dolphin, and the most serene shade of blue imaginable. They appear very notably gentle, though appearances can be decieving.

- Combat -

In battle the Zora tend to favor their powerful legs as well as their very sharp fins which can be used as deftly as Hylians use their swords. All Zora have a fin attack of some kind.

- Zoran Kingdom -

The Zoran Kingdom is the ruling body of the Zora's and their people. King Zora oversees all the actions of his people from his home in Zora's Domain. The Zora's patrol the waters of the worlds and call them their home.

- Zora Limits -

Zoras are better than average yet still have their flaws. These fish-people are limited to attacks no higher than level 7. They also have a weakness to fire and ice. Despite their superior swimming abilities, they are unable to travel on dry land for great lengths of time.
