| There are eight heart pieces to find outside of the dungeons |
| West of Mabe Village, and North of the Library. Slash the bush above the well so you can fall into it. A heart piece is in a cave below. |

| The log cave in the Mysterious Woods. You will need the power bracelet to pick up the skulls. |
| Fishing Game, north of Madame Meow Meow's house. Catch the biggest fish to get the heart piece. |

| On an island surrounded by holes. Just south of the Moblin Cave. You will need Roc's Feather to get it. |
|
| Tal Tal Heights, In a cave at the bottom, where the river flows. Dive in the middle to get it. |

| Top right hand corner of Animal Village. Lay a bomb to open up the cave entrance. Go in. Lay a bomb on the top wall to open a doorway. Go up and left a screen. Throw a bomb over the little wall to blow up the cracked stone. Go back around in a clockwise direction until you come to this room from the bottom. Use the hookshot to get across the gap.l |
| You can get to this one by lifting the stones surrounding a stairwell in Kohilint Prairie or by pushing the bottom right gravestone in the south-west part of the cemetary. Once in the cave, lay a bomb on the cracked stone to destroy it. Hookshot to the stone on the right and then use the feather to jump the gap. |
