Applique Salon 2008 was a huge success enjoyed by all participants, both students and teachers, and in response to popular demand will be back again next year at UCLA Conference Center in Lake Arrowhead.
     Study appliqué Sunday through Thursday with these renowned quilt artists in the serenity and informal elegance of the UCLA Conference Center set on the clear waters of the strikingly beautiful Lake Arrowhead in the pine forests of the San Bernardino Mountains.  Treat yourself to this opportunity to expand your appliqué skills with a teacher of your choice.   
    The Center is an ideal setting for inspiration and creativity and you will enjoy the accommodation in the French Normandy style cottages which offer two bedroom/2 bath with a living room area and wood-burning fireplace. Meals feature fresh, light, healthy fare with distinctive salads and home-baked breads, truly an epicurean delight!  Husbands are welcome and will enjoy boating, biking, hiking, fishing, swimming, horseback riding, plus golfing (45 min away)…. while you work!!!!
There will be an in-house booth with fabrics and all quilting supplies for purchase. 
The UCLA Conference Center is  one hour from Ontario International Airport.
You may work on a specific project offered or bring your own ideas for a project and Zena and Margarete will be very happy to offer their expertise.
